IT IMPLANTS CAPILLARY - TECHNICAL IT WAS

It is a surgical variant of the follicular microtransplant in which a direct and individual extraction of the follicular units of the zone is realised donor. It has been realised for more than ten years with a technique and instruments of extraction that have advanced much.

The technique WASis a surgical variant of the technique of follicular microtransplant and is considered asthe technique of hair transplant more outpost than exists. It consists of extracting of an individual way the follicles of the zone donor without needing points and without leaving scars. These follicular units of 1, 2, 3 or 4 hairs are extracted accompanied of the structures perifoliculares (hair glasses, sebaceous gland, muscle erector pili…).

These are the steps that this type of surgery follows:

1. Zone donor

The zone donor of this technique is major that the one of the strip and is selected after studying of meticulous form the density and quality of the hair. The zone must be shaved to be able to study the direction and the angle of the follicular units, so that the surgery is a success not only by the number of implanted hair, but by the naturalness of its aspect.

2. Extraction

Once fact this study, is extracted the follicles with tweezers, one by one. It turns out essential to follow an suitable landlord of extraction not to realise an on-extraction that can affect to the zone donor in the future, as much aesthetic as medically: it is advised approximately to extract between 25 and a 30% of follicular units available by each squared centimeter, following the characteristics and density of each patient. The extracted follicles are selected and classified one by one before coming to implants.

3. It implants

The follicular units are implanted in the zone that is wanted to repopulate through fine individual incisions.
